Ashoka Fellows are the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. They are active in over 90 countries across the world creatively solving some of the most pressing social and environmental problems of our time. You can read more about Ashoka Fellows here.

Many of them have research needs that will help further their field, confirm the effectiveness of their methodologies, clarify certain doubts, collect feedback from their beneficiaries, clients or partners. We are looking for skilled and motivated researchers, whether from academia, the public sector or private research companies, to become research consultants for our Fellows.

This is a pro bono or low-bono opportunity, but it is also a unique chance to engage in high-impact, applied research that can shape the future of social innovation. By participating, researchers can:

  • Collaborate with top social entrepreneurs solving real-world challenges,

  • Apply their research skills to impact-driven projects,

  • Expand their professional network within the Ashoka community,

  • Receive professional recognition through co-authorship, reports, and letters of acknowledgment,

  • Explore opportunities for publishing and presenting research findings.

If interested, please fill out the form below (approximately 8 minutes long) by May 23rd, so that we can assess your suitability to be matched with one or more of our Fellows.

If eligible, you will hear from us by May 30th.

“Research with Ashoka has deepened my understanding of social entrepreneurship. It helped me identify research questions that truly matter. By bridging research with real-world practice, we strengthen both. I invite fellow researchers to join this rewarding journey of discovery and impact.”
